Half & Half Vases \\ 2017

These vases are an expresion of a coloring methoed I developed in which I color the plaster mold with colored slip,

close the mold and cast regular slip.

kind of an over molding in ceramics.

when opening the mold, the pattern is revealed, and that is always a pleasent surprise.

Burned to 1100° C.
